Marblehead League of Women Voters Candidates' Night April 28

The League of Women Voters Candidates' Night will be held April 28.


The Marblehead League of Women Voters will sponsor its annual Candidates’ Night on Monday, April 28 in the Marblehead High School library.

The public is invited to meet with candidates, in both contested and uncontested races, beginning at 6:30 pm. The formal program is slated to begin at 7 pm.

This year’s contested races are for Cemetery Commission, Municipal Light Commission and for School Committee.

The public is invited to submit questions for the candidates at the forum or to submit questions by email to Shari Pressman, Voter Service Chair, at shari.pressman@gmail.com  or to call (781) 639-1143.

The League of Women Voters is non-partisan with respect to candidates and political parties.

The League works to promote political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government.
