Alleged Vehicle Burglars Arrested on Tedesco Street

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 


Friday, April 25

  • At 8:47 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Gerry Street.
  • At 9:53 a.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Smith Street.
  • At 2:21 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Tedesco Street.
  • At 2:45 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Gerald Road.
  • At 2:52 p.m., police assisted the Salem Police Department with the arrest of two men in the Tedesco Country Club parking lot. The men were reportedly spotted breaking into cars at the YMCA on Leggs Hill Road. Kenneth Jenkins, 50, of 26 Davids St., Brockton, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering a motor vehicle and operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, subsequent offense. Darrel Lynch, 27, of 26 Davids St., Brockton, was arrested on a charge of breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
  • At 3:14 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Widger Road.
  • At 4:37 p.m., police responded to a domestic dispute on Bessom Street.
  • At 5:41 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Lafayette Street.
  • At 6:49 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Humphrey Street.
  • At 8:59 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Beach Street.
  • At 9:12 p.m., police responded to a noise complaint on Evans Road.
  • At 10:06 p.m., police and fire units responded to a malicious fire alarm at the box on Broughton Road.
  • At 10:25 p.m., police and fire units responded to a malicious fire alarm at the box on Broughton Road. A man agreed to come in to speak with the chief.

Saturday, April 26

  • At 1:24 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Green Street.
  • At 6:59 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Gerald Road.
  • At 10:46 p.m., police responded to a disturbance on Pleasant Street. Two men were placed into protective custody.

Sunday, April 27

  • At 1:53 a.m., a Marion Road man entered the police station and reported that he had too much to drink. The man was taken to Marion Road.

Arrests

Leigh T. Hodges, 59, of 30 Bessom St., Apt. C, Marblehead, was arrested on charges of domestic assault and battery and two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon on a person over the age of 60. 

Gloria T. Richards, 21, of 165 Pleasant St., #4, Marblehead, was for reportedly having an outstanding warrant.
