Harassing Phone Calls Reported on West Shore Drive

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 


Wednesday, April 23

  • At 9:15 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Washington Street.
  • At 10:33 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Washington Street.
  • At 11:17 a.m., police responded to a report of harassing phone calls on West Shore Drive.
  • At 11:29 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Sontybrook Road.
  • At 2:26 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Stonybrook Road. A woman was transported to the hospital by ambulance.
  • At 3:20 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Creesy Street.
  • At 4:28 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Creesy Street.
  • At 5:49 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Broughton Road.
  • At 5:53 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Community Road. A man was taken to the hospital by ambulance.
  • At 6:48 p.m., a resident entered the police station to report a rope swinging from a tree or power line near the intersection of Maple and Humphrey streets. The rope was determined to be part of an electric light department rig. 
  • At 11:08 p.m., a Bassett Street man called police to report that his son was having a nervous breakdown. One person was taken to Salem Hospital.
