Marblehead Teen Charged With Assault & Battery on a Police Officer

Monday, April 7

  • At 8:12 a.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over some license plates they found at the park.
  • At 9:02 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Crown Way.
  • At 9:34 a.m., police responded to an alarm on West Shore Drive.
  • At 10:37 a.m., a person on Lafayette Street called police to report being called racially abusive names.
  • At 2:07 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Pond Street.
  • At 2:14 p.m., police responded to a report of skateboarders smoking pot in front of a school on Pleasant Street.
  • At 4:23 p.m., police responded to a road rage incident near the intersection of Lafayette and Maple streets.
  • At 4:42 p.m., a resident called police to report that her locker was keyed at the golf club.
  • At 5:58 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Driftwood Road.
  • At 6:05 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Yorkshire Road.
  • At 6:36 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Creesy Street.
  • At 7:17 p.m., police responded to an alarm on Yorkshire Road.
  • At 8:21 p.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Wyman Road. Robert Connors, 19, of 27 Haley Road, Marblehead, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer, being a minor in possession of alcohol and for violating the town's bylaw pertaining to public consumption of marijuana.
  • At 8:56 p.m., a Broughton Road woman asked to speak to an officer regarding recent vandalism to her pots and statue.
  • At 9:22 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Pleasant Street.
  • At 10:34 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Old Salem Road.

Tuesday, April 8

  • At 1:44 a.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Beverly Avenue.
  • At 3:12 a.m., police responded to an alarm on Pitman Road.
