Erratic Motorcyclist Reported on Ocean Avenue

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log: 

Thursday, March 20:
 

  • At 9:37 a.m., a Broughton Road resident called police to report that someone has been using her address without her authority.
  • At 9:39 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Riverside Drive.
  • At 9:48 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Humphrey Street.
  • At 12:45 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Ruby Avenue.
  • At 12:48 p.m., police conducted a well-being check on Washington Street.
  • At 1:39 p.m., police responded to a report of an erratic operator on Ocean Avenue. A resident told police he saw a motorcyclist going about 70 mph toward Marblehead Neck. 
  • At 2:01 p.m., police conducted a well-being check near the intersection of Pleasant and Rockaway streets.
  • At 2:53 p.m., police responded to a past motor vehicle accident on Clifton Avenue.
  • At 4:13 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Carlton Road.
  • At 5:38 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Widger Road.
  • At 8:35 p.m., police responded to a report of an erratic operator on Beverly Avenue.
  • At 10:20 p.m., police responded to a medical emergency on Carlton Road.
  • At 11:56 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Village Street.

Friday, March 21

  • At 12:05 a.m., police stopped a motor vehicle on Orchard Circle. Paul S. Stevens, 72, of 5 Carna Road, was arrested on charges of operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, second offense and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. Click Here for our full story.

  • At 3:24 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Washington Street.
