Thank you to the boy on Broughton Rd who was brave enough to call the police and report the abuse.
Dan Flapjacks August 09, 2012 at 01:39 PM
Maybe the cat should have shutup when Mike told him to.
Choochie August 09, 2012 at 01:53 PM
@Dan Flapjacks. You're a jerk.
Dan Flapjacks August 09, 2012 at 05:48 PM
Cats just go around acting like they own the place. I'm glad someone finnally put one of these felines in their place.
Choochie August 09, 2012 at 07:18 PM
@Dan Flapjacks. Animal abuse is not funny. You are not funny. You really are a jerk.
Donna Michaud August 10, 2012 at 02:36 AM
Don't waste your time trying to talk to an absolute idiot like Dan Flapjacks. (what kind of name is that??) He's obviously mentally ill and needs help and doesn't deserve your time or words. The police will take note on his cruelty comments (remember anything on the internet can be traced); he's just stupid and a big waste of time.
becky August 10, 2012 at 10:57 AM
I don't know who dan Flapjacks is, nor do I care, but I suggest perhaps he is trying to use irony to be humorous. You, Donna Michaud, may not think it is funny but it is certainly not illegal and I doubt any police acting in any sort of official capacity are paying 1 iota of attention to any comments in the Patch. BTW, you have perhaps heard of the first Amendment to the United States Constitution?
Joe Christensen August 10, 2012 at 12:32 PM
Godspeed Flapjacks! The man is on to you!
Jon Ringo August 10, 2012 at 02:13 PM
I once had to snuff out a cat before I moved in with my future wife. It was dirty work... but I was allergic.
louise August 10, 2012 at 08:33 PM
Seriously, Becky? You choose to admonish Donna for her comment while defending Dan Flapjacks' comment as being "ironic" and "humorous"? While I agree that any idiot is free to say whatever ignorant thing they choose I would hope that you would feel that aligning yourself with such a person is beneath your character. I say this, of course, not knowing your character but simply hoping for better from people in our community.
becky August 12, 2012 at 10:14 AM
Louise, all I said was I thought Flapjacks was taking a stab at humor. That is not aligning myself with him. All I was doing was saying he has a right to say stupid things and that there was nothing criminal about what he said. I also said the police aren't paying attention to it; I probably should have said I hope they aren't because surely they have better things to do with their time as one will rarely find a criminal act in the comments section of a small newspaper.
nick August 12, 2012 at 06:07 PM
why dont you use your real name Dan?
Donna Michaud August 17, 2012 at 05:38 PM
To Becky, there's nothing funny about animal abuse, nor do I find humor in elderly, child, wife/husband abuse. My comment was just to say that if Dan Flapjacks thinks animal abuse is ok and humorous and because it is illiegal, should he choose to abuse ANYONE -- maybe his sick actions could be traced through this small newspaper. Maybe you didn't, but I did sign up with a real name. And look, I even use my real name in this comment - not some alias as "Flapjacks" - it's as stupid as he (and there's my use of the first amendment to the United States.) And if noone cares about "opinions" on Patch - why, Becky, are you leaving yours?? I'm done with this -
Dan Flapjacks August 28, 2012 at 10:03 PM
I can't wait to see the police log from this: "Crazy old woman named Donna calls police about someone threatening cats on internet."
Donna Michaud August 29, 2012 at 03:24 AM
Dan Flapjacks - I'd rather be crazy than abusive. And with that said I'm leaving this site - I hate people like you and you don't deserve any more of my time. Say all you want, I'm unsubscribing from Patch. I feel sorry for you - you're hopeless.

Donna don't let flapjacks win. He's making everyone with a breakfast food as their last name look bad.
becky August 29, 2012 at 12:07 PM
Donna, I realize you are done with this but I hope you read and understand this: When I said it was a stab at humor I didn't say I thought it was funny. So please don't lecture me. I said Dan Flapjacks was perhaps trying to be funny. Lots of people say stupid, odious things thinking they are funny. Please don't get so rightously indignant at what I said. There are few things worse than abuse of the defenseless, two or four legged. As for signing up with a real name I'm pretty sure a person has to have a real e-mail address to sign up and that e-mail would have a traceable ipo so if a person were stupid enough to admit to a crime (mere words don't qualify) and the police were notified of the information they could find out to whom the computer belongs and perhaps figure out who wrote the admission.

I was the second shooter on the grassy knoll... i'll let you know if they find me becky
kandy March 21, 2013 at 02:03 AM
I own the cat she was fine he did not throw her against a tile wall or any other kind of wall I saw it myself. The animal control officer was called and she cleared the cat of any and all injury. These chargers were all dissmissed
