Obituary: Christina M. Drew

It is with profound sadness that the family of Christina Montigue (Morris) Drew announces that she died in Amesbury on Saturday, May 26.

Chris was born in Burlington, Vt., but lived most of her life in Marblehead, attending Marblehead Public Schools (Class of 1988), then the White Mountain School and Katherine Gibbs School.

She was the daughter of Monty and Betsy Morris of Marblehead and the sister of Tom, who lives in Vermont and Peter and his wife Natalia, who live in Brazil. Chris was married to Larry Drew of Amesbury and had two sons, Daniel Joseph McLaughlin and Zander Thomas Drew and a step-son Steven Drew. She and Larry were members of St. James Episcopal Church and The Polish Club of Amesbury.

Chris was deeply loved by all her family – her aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces – and by her friends, of which there were many. Every single one has a story about how Chris helped them over some bump in his or her road. She treasured her friends. Her favorite pastime was being with friends and family, sharing new stories and retelling the old ones.

Service will be at St. James Episcopal Church, Amesbury, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 2.
