Here is this week's list of five things to do in Marblehead. They are listed in no particular order:
Walk For a Cure: The seventh annual Breast Friends Walk will begin Sunday at Devereux Beach. The walk will kick off at 9 a.m. and will benefit a truly worthy cause, so consider stopping by and pitching in.
Cheer: Marblehead High School's varsity football team will look to remain unbeaten Friday afternoon as they travel to Newburyport to take on Clippers. The game will be Marblehead's first chance to avenge a brutal loss last October where they amazingly blew a 21 point lead in the fourth quarter.
Check Out a New Exhibit: If you haven't already, consider stopping by the The Marblehead Museum and Historical Society on Washington Street to check out their new 1812 exhibit. Click Here to take a virtual tour around the new exhibit, entitled "Marblehead and the War of 1812: Patriots, Prisoners and Privateers."
Live Music: Ellis Paul will be performing at the Me and Thee Coffee House on Mugford Street Friday night. Tickets for the concert, which is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., are $20 in advance, $23 at the door. Click Here for more information.
Farmers' Market: The Marblehead Farmers' Market will be held Saturday at Marblehead Veterans Middle School. The market will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and will feature all the fruits, flowers and veggies you'll need to keep your family happy and healthy.
