A new Italian restaurant may be coming to Atlantic Avenue in Marblehead.

The Zoning Board of Appeals will be sitting down with Comella's Restaurants co-owner John Paul Comella next week at a public hearing regarding his desire to reopen the former Moran Studios space as an eatery, according to the posted agenda.

The public hearing is scheduled to be held at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Selectmen's Meeting Room of Abbot Hall.
