Marblehead's newest downtown commercial property is nearly complete.

34 Atlantic Avenue LLC received permission in 2012 to tear down the former Fruit of the Four Seasons market and build a new 2,000-square-foot commercial space in its place.

The new building will have two separate storefronts facing Atlantic Avenue and the latest plans call for the creation of several new parking spaces along Barnard Street.

Marblehead Patch will be posting photos of progress as construction continues.

What would you like to see move in?

A Music Shop that sells CDs, Records, Instruments, Music Videos, Posters, accessories for Cell Phones, Ipods, Computers, ect ect ect.... Everyone would be going in there, especially the kids. It would be a Gold Mine for the owner.

Anything that sells a product to sustain us so we don't have to drive out of Town to buy it! Enough of these "novelty" shops, please!

@Rockin Tupelo - Music shops are dying with music gone digital. Would hate to see a Cricket Wireless or junk cel phone stop pop up there. @Jean - I just hope it's not another boutique clothing store. I think we're at our max for those.
