After being open for more than three months, Joey D's Italian Grill is now serving alcohol, owner Joseph Costanzo said Monday.
Costanzo said Italian wines and a variety of beer brands are now being served at the Italian eatery on Pleasant Street, which opened in the space formerly occupied by Hooked Seafood and Grill.
The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved Costanzo's request for a liquor license at a meeting in June.
Joey D's is a 30-seat space and is located at 115 Pleasant St. - directly across the street from Warwick Place and adjacent to The Rip Tide.
The restaurant's hours of operation are 11 a.m. to 12 a.m., Monday through Sunday.
