Here's everything you need to know about this year's Fourth of July fireworks display in Marblehead.

The annual Fourth of July fireworks display over Marblehead Harbor will draw thousands of North Shore residents to the shores of Marblehead this week.

According to the Marblehead Fireworks Committee, this year's Fourth of July display is scheduled to begin Thursday at 8:45 p.m. - the ceremonial lighting of flares around the harbor will take place shortly beforehand.

Residents planning to watch the fireworks from their boat are reminded to be mindful of the safety and security zone around the fireworks barge that exists throughout the entire day and is patrolled by civilian boat patrols.
