Girls Cross Country Sweeps to Victory Against Swampscott

The Magicians remain undefeated on the season.

The girls cross country team remained undefeated on the season Tuesday after outrunning Swampscott on their Upper Jackson course.

Coach Jen Rodier saw her girls finish in the top four spots.

She said the runners came to the program in running shape and have built on their conditioning by continuing to train hard.

"It's showing in the results," she said.

The first four finishers were team leaders Janaya Randall, Lily Roberts, Sarah Oliver and Paige Ferrucci.

The team is 5-0 on the season and the coach has high hopes for the girls in the state meet.

On Thursday Patch will have a story and photos on the boys race against Swampscott.
