Man Falls 20 Feet From Ladder

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Thursday, June 27

  • At 8:58 a.m., a wire was reportedly down on the road on West Shore Drive. The electric company was on the scene and the wire moved off the road.
  • At 9:24 a.m., a walker was hit by a car at Hawkes Street and Atlantic Avenue. The patient was conscious and alert and transported to the hospital.
  • At 9:50 a.m., police received a 911 call on a man who had fallen 20 feet from a ladder. He was conscious and alert with a possible shoulder injury and was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital.
  • At 11:05 a.m., the drain department was working on a collapsed basin on Summer Street and seeking to have the road shut down for 20 minutes.
  • At 1:50 p.m. police received a report that a car had been vandalized — spray-painted.
  • At 10:50 p.m., police received a harassment report from Ocean Avenue. A caller reported that the girlfriend of her soon-to-be ex-husband drove by and yelled at her.

Friday, June 28

  • At 10:22 a.m., a son on Front Street reported that his father, who had multiple health issues, had passed away.
  • At 2:45 p.m., a neighbor dispute was reported on Munroe Road.
  • At 3:19 p.m., an unwanted patron was reportedly in a Washington Street store.
