ReplyTo all here on Patch:
Those of you that know me well. and those of you who know me fairly well are aware that I make my own decision for my own reasons. Criticism does not bother me, and as a current council member (appointed by those YOU elected) I accept criticism as a part of the gig. If I respond to that criticism, then that is a part of the gig for whichever poster I respond to (true even for the anonymous types). If my responding to anonymous barbs bothers anonymous posters, so be it.
Mr. J. Burns. I don't believe that my very short voting record would be enough to indicate any sort of pattern.
This will be all for me in this thread.

Mr. Lunt. I could refer you to the article of your where I quoted Councilor Sargent in regards to anonymous on-line posters, but would prefer that you do your own homework.
Thank you very much for the kind thoughts in regards to the fall elections. If I choose to pursue a full term I look forward to speaking with you personally.

No Mr. Lunt, it is but is a part of what Patch is all about.
I am always a fan of the free exchange of ideas and opinions. That is how problems and issues are solved.
It is a shame that Patch continues to encourage those, like you who choose to personalize and belittle under the guise of a screen name.
Ironic that you cite Councilor Sargent and his approach to government. He is open, sincere, diligent and courageous enough to stand his ground under his good name. It is my honor to sit next to him and to try to learn from him. He would not approve of your anonymous rock throwing.

Explaining to readers why I voted the way I did is not speaking for yourself. If your intention was otherwise Mr. Lunt you should have qualified your statement with, "I believe, or in my opinion". You did not.
Have a nice weekend.

Her name was Catherine if I remember correctly. She used to like to sit in Starbucks and on occasion her state of mind would allow for actual conversation. She had a place to live on Lafayette St. next to Strega and liked to wear evening gowns on hot summer days. I never knew her to panhandle.
