St. Michael's Church was established as the first Church of England congregation in Marblehead in 1714 by a group of sea captains and local residents. After the American Revolution it became an Episcopal Church. This vibrant congregation continues worship in its original 1714 building, the oldest Episcopal Church in New England used year round. Its members serve the Marblehead and local communities as well as its sister parish St. Thomas in Arcahaie, Haiti. The campus is accessible from 26 Pleasant St. and the corner of Summer St. and Washington.
