Marblehead High School's Headlight newspaper is a dedicated group of students that work each week to bring the local news about and pertaining to Marblehead High School to all Marbleheaders. Each week they meet to discuss the next issue and staff members will be chosen to write certain articles on topics varying from Haunted Happenings to Homework to Football to the Police Log. Led by the wonderful Editors-in-Chief Dan Rosenburg and Grace Perry, Headlight has become a growing force. Our superb Faculty Advisor Mr. Thomas Higgins is always supportive of what we do and helps us strive to be the best we can. This year our new staff is full of members from last year and some new faces. Coming back for their second year are sophomore webmaster Alex Kerai, staff member Davis Gold, and cartoonist Zhen Humen. Webmaster Alex Kerai continues to maintain Headlight's website (mhsheadlight.weebly.com) and update Patch with articles from Headlight. Cartoonist Zhen Humen draws interesting cartoons that regard MHS and Marblehead. Staff Member Davis Gold is continuing his career writing with Headlight coming off his articles on book and the security cameras last year. New members include designe coordinator Caroline Hooper who maintains the Headlight board in the English wing as well. Reporter-in-the-Field Shanna Smith brings current news to Headlight from around Salem, Marblehead and Swampscott while Editorial Manager Matthew Felsenthal writes commentary on anything that interests him. Headlight Staff Writers Pierce Law, and Maddy VanDussen write with a passion on topics like the MHS Fashion Frenzy, the Thanksgiving football game, and other topics pertaining to Marblehead and MHS.
This team of dedicated students brings you the news each week. They tell you what is happening and what is interesting. They provide poll questions, funny articles and an informative website. This is Marblehead High School's Headlight Newspaper.
