Here is a round up of live music happening this weekend around the North Shore.
This weekend is packed with live music on the North Shore and a whole bunch of bands playing a wide variety of music genres, from classic rock to blues and soul, can be seen for free at rock clubs and restaurants throughout the region. In Marblehead on Friday night, well-known folk artist Vance Gilbert takes the stage at Me & Thee Coffeehouse. The Don Lawson Band is playing the Red Rock Bistro on Friday night. The 2013 Marblehead Festival of Arts logo will be unveiled Tuesday night in a public premiere party at The Landing.
Excited to see what the logo is going to be for this year's Marblehead Festival of the Arts? You'll have to stop down to The Landing tonight from 7-9 p.m. for the Logo Premiere Party to find out, says NoBO Magazine. The highlight of the evening will, of course, be announcing the winner contest winner and unveiling the 2013 festival logo, which was selected out of 40 entries. The magazine says three semifinalists have been revealed. The festival itself is will be held July 4-7.
