I agree with some of the comments above. Yannalfo's is great and should be on the list - most times I am in there, they are slower than I would expect, so I'm assuming they just haven't caught enough attention. But whenever I go in, I get great service and amazing food. And I checked Yelp - it seems that there is a lot of reviews that are filtered and when I went looking, found this site http://…   more ›

Kitsen Table Awarded Liquor License

Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a liquor license for family-seating-style restaurant on Bessom Street.

At their meeting Wednesday night, the town's Board of Selectmen unanimously approved a wine and malt beverage license for Kitsen Table, a new home-seating restaurant located at 10 Bessom St.  Appearing before the board Wednesday was part-owner Mia Lunt, of 55 Hillside Road in Tewskbury, who presented members with copies of the restaurant's prospective menu and shared the story of how she and her family arrived in Marblehead. After explaining the concept behind Kitsen Table, Lunt told board members that she had "fallen in love with Marblehead" after she and her six-member family arrived from a Vietnamese refugee camp through a sponsorship by St. Stephen's Church in 1980.
