Skateboarder Still Critical Friday
Sam Martin, injured in a skateboarding accident Saturday, remains in critical condition at Mass General Hospital in Boston.
Five days after a local skateboarder was rushed to the hospital with a severe head injury suffered in a collision with a vehicle in town, the investigation into the cause of the accident remains open. The majority of the information about what happened at the intersection of Norman Street and Ginger Bread Hill Saturday afternoon has been gleaned from short entries in the town's police log. On Tuesday afternoon, Police Chief Robert Picariello said that no decision had been made on whether or not to cite Jennifer Armini, 41, the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident.
