Before it's gone forever - here's a look out toward Marblehead from the top of the Salem Harbor Power Station's 500-foot power stack.
The two massive power stacks that have dominated the local skyline for more than 60 years will soon come down and the one-of-a-kind view of Marblehead seen above will be gone forever. Didn't realize there was so much empty land by that large fuel tank by the Beverly bridge. Too bad they couldn't work out a deal and put the proposed gas power plant there, and open up all the old power plant property to a healthier and more scenic development option. more ›
