Where Can I Park During the Parking Ban?

Here's a handy guide to off-street parking in Marblehead.

Marblehead's Winter Parking Ban will continue until April 15, 2013 - and earlier this week, one of our readers asked us if we could provide a list of places where they can legally leave their car overnight.  So, as part of this week's You Ask...Patch Answers column, here's a quick run-down of some of the places in town where people without their own spaces can park overnight, though many of these spaces require that the owners retrieve their vehicles before 7 a.m. or they will be ticketed. No parking will be allowed on any street for a period longer than one hour between the hours of …

Where Can I Park During the Parking Ban? [POLL]

This week, Marblehead Patch provides a guide to off-street parking in Marblehead.

Marblehead's Off-Street Parking Ban will take effect at 12:01 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 28 and will continue until April 15, 2012 - and before it gets here, one of our readers wanted to know where they can legally park overnight.  So, earlier this week we set out on a mission to get our hands on a list of all of Marblehead's off-street parking spaces or a map that highlights locations where residents, their overnight guests or visiting family members can park their cars during the ban. What we found, after speaking with the town's Parking Clerk and Marblehead Police Chief Robert Picariello, is that such a list, map or other resource for those interested simply doesn't exist. "There is no map or list. People in town mostly know where to park, …
