This small pond, a former town reservoir, sits in the shadow of the nearby Old Burial Hill, where the rows of headstones end just a few dozen feet before the pond's shore. According to the town, the pond is named after Wilmont Redd, a Marblehead woman convicted of witchcraft during the Salem witch trials.
