It had been many years since I really spent any time looking around the Marblehead Community Store...shame on me! They have really brought the level of food and meats,fish as well as bakery and fresh vegetables etc. up to a teriffic fresh and fair price for value.. It is well cared for and the people who work there are always friendly and helpful. Worth a trip over to see how great it is!! You'll make it a regular stop....

Prices are a tad high, but they have the best meat around. Always friendly faces, easy parking (except on Saturdays on the side by the transfer station: yikes! For the size of the store, they have a great selection.
Even though it costs me a lot more than running over to Market Basket, I do the majority of my shopping here. Time is money, as they say, and I like quick in and out shopping runs. The Community Store certainly provides that. One thing though: you have to check the expiration dates in the dairy section.
