The Atomic Cafe, in the heart of downtown Marblehead, is the second of two wildly popular coffeehouses owned by brothers, Andrew and John Mahoney. John runs the Beverly location, while Andrew serves the Marblehead community. Locals and loyal regulars of the cafe's first location appreciate the expanded menu made possible by a larger kitchen. One can order healthy sandwiches as exotic as goat cheese and pesto, as well as a wide variety of fresh, tantalizing baked goods. It also serves a variety of other drinks, both hot and cold, such as teas and smoothies.
