Upcoming Winter Programs and Events at the YMCA

Check out all the YMCA has to offer this Winter!

Ski Club

The YMCA is running it’s annual ski program every Saturday beginning January 5th and ending on February 9th.  This program is suitable for all levels of skiers and has the following options available:

Nashoba Valley ½ Day

This option is for beginners in Kindergarten or older and includes a one hour lesson and 3 hours of skiing/riding. For more information contact Anthony Falconeri at falconeria@northshoreymca.org.

Ragged Mountain Full Day

This option is for independent skiers and boarders age 8 or older and includes 8 hours of skiing or riding and the option for a lesson if desired.  For more information contact Adam Rodgers at rodgersa@northshoreymca.org.

Quidditch

If your kids are Harry Potter fans or just want to try a new sport, bring them on down to the YMCA and have them give Quidditch a try!  Quidditch combines elements of soccer and lacrosse with a twist.  We are currently inviting players ages 8-12 to come and try a class for free on Thursdays at 5:15 PM.  If you are interested, please contact Sports Director Emily Hudak at hudake@northshoreymca.org.


Middle School Soccer League

Do you have a middle school aged soccer player who is
looking for something to do in between the Fall and Spring soccer seasons?  The YMCA is offering a soccer league for middle school aged students.  If you’d

Zumba Toning Master
Class with Jen Nicosia

Fee: Y Member-$10                Community-$15

When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar
(or rather, the toning stick).  It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength training dance fitness party!  Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies while having a total blast!  Advanced sign up required, sign up online or at the Welcome Center.

Women’s Adult
Basketball League

This 4 on 4 league is a great way to stay fit throughout the winter as well as meet some new people.  The games are 20 minute running halves and take place in the YMCA Gymnasium on Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM.  If you are interested in playing or have a team ready to go, contact Sports Director Emily Hudak at hudake@northshoreymca.org to sign up.
