Car Show:

Sunday, Oct. 6th from 10-2 pm is the 3rd Annual Classic By The Sea Car Show sponsored by the Swampscott Recreation Department by the Swampscott Town Hall lawn and Monument Avenue. 

About 150 cars are expected including those form the early 20th century, the big-fendered 50s, and the muscular 60s.

Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA Fall Arts Week Ballet Performances

On Saturday, Oct. 5, at 9 a.m., the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA, 40 Leggs Hill Road, Marblehead, Free Family---Boston Ballet Company will be performing dances in Y lobby and holding an open house!

Animal Shelter Yard Sale and Kitten Supply Drive - dog stuff too

  • On Saturday from 9 to noon at the Marblehead Veterans Middle School 217 Pleasant Street — enter from Vine Street — is the Marblehead Farmers' Market.

Art:

  • Marblehead Arts Association Exhibits August 31–October 6

The Marblehead Arts Association is pleased to announce the opening of its latest exhibit on Saturday, August 31, at the King Hooper Mansion at 8 Hooper Street. Following an opening reception on Sunday, September 8, from 2 to 4 pm, the exhibit will remain open until October 8.

Featured artists will be Rich Grote and Anthony Padula, of Marblehead, Paul McMahan of Chelsea, Ilona Gelpey of Danvers and Melissa Kornfeld of Salem. The “Meet the Artist” wall will feature Anita Cohen of Newton.
