Essential Mondays: Christmas Walk Week is Here


Monday, Dec. 2

The Harbors and Waters Board meets at 7:30 p.m. at 9 Ferry Lane in the Harbormaster's Quarters. Agenda items include an update on the Stramski pier project and an update from Harbormaster Webb Russell.

Monday also marks the beginning of the winter sports season for Marblehead High School.  

Thursday, Dec. 5

The Marblehead School Committee meets at 7:30 p.m. in the library at Marblehead High School. Meeting items include an update from the Glover School Building Committee as well as facilities and curriculum updates.

Friday, Dec. 6

Both the boys and the girls hockey teams have scrimmages scheduled for Friday, the boys, 7 p.m. at home vs. North Andover at Connery; and the girls, 6:10 p.m., away against North Yarmouth Academy at the Pingree School.

As part of the Marblehead Christmas Walk festivities, come see the tree-lighting ceremony. The tree will be lit by person of the year, Paul Crosby, at 7 p.m. at the National Grand Bank parking lot. 


Saturday, Dec. 7

The Old Town House reopening celebration starts at 10:30 a.m. with a ribbon cutting and will be followed by an open house.

The Marblehead High indoor track team will compete in the NEC relays at Swampscott High in the field house at 2 p.m.
