Paws & Claws: Cookie

Can you help this cat find a new home?

The following information was provided by Marblehead Animal Shelter representative Karen Thrasher:

Cookie is a black short haired cat with a white tuft on her chest and gleaming golden eyes. She also has a rich mahogany color fur running through her coat.

She is approximately seven years old. Cookie was a stray and she must have been on her own for a while. It could not have been easy. When she was rescued the poor cat's coat and skin were a mess. She doesn’t look like the same cat now that she has been cared for in the shelter.

She is in good health, tested negative for FIV and FeLV and her coat and skin now look terrific. Cookie is a sweet kitty, loves to be petted and given attention.

She deserves a warm comfy home, as a single pet, where she can curl up on a soft chair with no worries about where she was going to get her next meal. Cookie is up to date with routine shots, house trained and spayed.
