Hello Marblehead!

My name is Tim Short and I am the new Recreation Supervisor at Marblehead Recreation & Parks Department. I've been with Marblehead for just over a week and I absolutely love it!

I must tip my hat to Jim Sullivan who is now working for the Winchester Recreation Department. He did a terrific job and I have some very big shoes to fill. I'm looking forward to bringing the same level of energy and excitement that Jim brought to this department and raise the bar up another several notches to make Marblehead Recreation the best that it can be. 

I'm currently working on the Winter/Spring 2014 Recreation Booklet which will have some really fun new programs. There are also special events that are coming up such as the Christmas Parade and Holiday Sing-a-Long that we can all look forward to.

I've also been in touch with Santa and he will be setting up a special mail box inside the Marblehead Community Center to receive letters from all the good little boys & girls from Marblehead starting on November 25th.

You can also come in the Marblehead Community Center and talk with me about activities, events or the World Series Champions - Boston Red Sox! 

I'll be using this blog to promote all of the great programs and events that Marblehead Recreation is famous for and the new ones that I'll be coming up with. Please feel free to share my blog to those who are interested in Marblehead Recreation.
