Daddy Daughter Dance a Huge Success!

On behalf of the Marblehead Recreation & Parks Department I would like to thank everyone that came to the 2nd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance which was held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at the Marblehead Community Center. The dance was well attended with 165 tickets being sold and so many happy daughters sharing a wonderful night out with their special paternal figure in their lives.

The dance wouldn’t have been a success without the support from the Marblehead Community. Thank you to Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt who donated a gift card for “best dancer of the night.” Flores Mantilla donated all the gorgeous flowers for the dads and daughters, making each couple look so amazing.

Entertainment for the night was provided by Entertain New England LLC. and the DJ made sure everyone kept dancing all night long with great songs and dance games. Global Click Photography took photos of each couple as they entered the Community Center and great candid shots throughout the night.

Special thanks to Brendan Egan and Teri McDonough with helping to decorate the Community Center leading up to the dance. Both Brendan and Teri assisted throughout the night and made sure that those who attended the dance were well taken care of. It was a great team effort!

I’m very proud that the Recreation and Parks Department can offer special events like the 2nd Annual Daddy Daughter Dance for the Marblehead Community. I’m looking forward to working with other organizations in the community to bring more exciting events and programs in the coming months ahead.
