John Tierney also deceived voters about Obamacare

Now that President Obama has apologized for misleading the American people for telling them that they could keep their health insurance if they liked it, one has to wonder when John Tierney is going to be making the same apology.

After all, on Tierney’s website he said the exact same thing: “Essential health insurance reforms.  Under the new law, individuals with insurance can keep the coverage they have now, and it will get better.

Of course, Tierney’s promise is simply not true – millions of Americans have lost their health insurance because of Obamacare. But maybe hoping Tierney will change his website is too much to ask for – after all, Tierney stubbornly continues to side with the far fringes of his party, voting against a bipartisan bill on Friday which would allow people to keep the health care plans of their choice.

The fact of the matter is that John Tierney blatantly misled voters when he promised them that ‘if they liked their health care plan, they could keep it.’ By now the story of Congressman John Tierney is fully written – he is an unethical, untrustworthy obstructionist who represents all that is wrong with Washington D.C.
