Marblehead Teams Kick Off MIAA Tournaments This Week
Marblehead High School has multiple teams in the hockey and basketball tournaments.
Two Marblehead High basketball teams and the school's boys' hockey team head into the MIAA tournament this week.

Boys basketball

Marblehead High boys hoops will square off with Chelsea Monday. The game is scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. in Marblehead.
Marblehead is the number 15 seed in the Division 2 North tournament and finished the year at 11-9. The top seed in the Division 2 North tourney is New Mission, which went 18-2 this year.

Girls basketball
Marblehead High girls basketball will hit the road to take on Newburyport in Newburyport at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The winner will play the top seed, Watertown, on March 1.
Danvers is the number 9 seed and finished the year at 12-8.

Boys hockey
Marblehead High School's boys' hockey team squares off against Haverhill at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday in Chelmsford.
Marblehead finished the year at 16-5-1 and is the number 7 seed in the Division 2 North tournament.
The winner of Tuesday’s game will skate against North Reading at 5 p.m. Friday in Stoneham.
