Marblehead Girls' Lacrosse Advances to MIAA Tournament Semi-Final

Show your support for Marblehead High School's girls' lacrosse team.

Marblehead High School's girls' lacrosse team defeated fourth-seeded Lowell Catholic 13-3 in the quarter-final round of the MIAA state tournament Thursday.

The win means the team moves on to take on the eight seed, Bishop Fenwick in the semi-finals. The time and location of the game have not yet been released. 

Marblehead, ranked fifth in the North Division 2 tournament, finished the regular season at 12-7. Bishop Fenwick, which defeated Ipswich 14-12 in the quarter-final round, finished the season at 11-7.
