The United Martial Arts Center, located in Vinnin Square Plaza, is sponsoring their 10th Annual Fundraiser to benefit HAWC – Healing Abuse Working for Change, a non-profit organization in Salem, MA.

A Women’s Self Defense Class will be offered on Thursday April 14th at 7pm.  Taught by women instructors, this popular hands-on seminar has been offered every year as part of the HAWC Fundraiser.  It will focus on awareness, confidence and effective self defense techniques. A donation of $20 is suggested for these events.  All attendees will also receive a gift certificate for one week of martial arts adult and children’s classes for the entire family.
