Updated: School Canceled Thursday and Friday in Marblehead Due to Snowstorm
School will resume on Monday, Jan. 6.
As the North Shore braces for a Nor'easter, school has been canceled Thursday and Friday for Marblehead's public schools, said Superintendent Maryann Perry.
"After watching the weather and speaking with the DPW, Police Chief, and other key town officials the decision was to not have school," said Superintendent Perry. "We are not sure of what tomorrow will bring and the safety of the students and staff are an important factor in the decision."
