Marblehead Home Sales Increased Slightly from Last Year
Home sales increased by 9 percent in the first six months this year compared to last year.
The Warren Group recently issued their June home sales numbers for towns and counties throughout the state, including Marblehead. Marblehead home sales saw a slight increase over last year.
The first six months of 2013 saw an increase in homes sales compared to the first six months of 2012, while home sales numbers for June plateaued compared to last year.
In the first six months of this year, Marblehead saw 114 home sales, which is a 9 percent increase from the first six months of 2012, in which 104 homes were sold.
The median sale price for Marblehead homes in June of this year represented a 9 percent jump from June of last year, going from $520,000 to 563,500.
