Marblehead Condo Sales Drop in First Half of 2013

The Warren Group recently released their June home sales numbers for the towns and counties in Massachusetts and Marblehead saw a drop in condo sales in the first six months of 2013.

Marblehead condo sales year-to-date compared to last year have decreased while June condo sales equaled condo sales in June of last year. 

Last month, Marblehead saw 5 condos sold, which is equal to June of 2012, which was also 5. 

Since the beginning of 2013, only 16 condos have been sold in Marblehead, which is a 33 percent drop compared to the first six months in 2012, in which 24 homes were sold. 

The median sale price for June of 2013 also dropped quite a bit, 29 percent, from the median price in June of last year, going from $405,000 to $285,000.
