Friday Kids Night

Ages: 6-11 years

Fee: Y Member $10 Community $15

Drop your child off for a couple hours of fun with their friends! Supervised games, sports, swimming, and socialization, and a pizza dinner are provided. Must register in advance at LVO front desk. Meets in the Teen Center.

Kids Night Schedule includes:

6:00-6:30  Pizza and a drink for dinner

6:30-7:15  Swimming and or games in the teen room

7:15-8:05  Gymnasium games

8:05-8:45  Gymnastic center

8:45           Pick up at the gymnastic center.

Camp Out at the Y

Ages: 7 years & older

Fee: Y Member $35 Community $53

Join us on September 21 for our camp out on the Y field. We will start the night out with a barbecue, learn how to assemble a tent, take a night hike with flashlights and the stars as our guide, and will end the night with camp stories and S’mores around the fire. Pick up is at 8am the next day, breakfast will be provided.

Y Skate Demo

Fee: FREE

Skateboard skills demo featuring local skate shop pros. Join us at 4pm for skills demo and at 5pm you will get a chance to learn new tips and tricks.

Y Skate Zone

Fee: Y Members FREE Community $5

Skateboard, scooters, and rollerblades are all welcome at the new Skate Zone! Open to skaters of all ages and experience levels; beginners will get pointers and tips from knowledgeablestaff and experienced skaters, and experienced skaters can work on their tricks in a relaxed and encouraging environment. Helmets are required, skaters under 8 must be accompanied by an adult, and all skaters must have a signed parent waiver available online or at the Y. Skateboard Lessons

Fee: Y Member $66 Community $99

These lessons are for the individual who is new to the sport. We will teach you proper foot placement, proper safety procedures, and how to balance, ollie, turn, push, and ride transition. Skaters need a board, helmet, elbow and knee pads, and a signed parent waiver available online or at the Y. Classes are 45 minutes and limited to 5 participants.

Tween Fun Night

Ages: 9-12 years

Fee: Y Member $5 Community $5

Are you looking for a fun way to spend a Saturday night? Come and hang out at the Y. Play Wii, listen to music, or play dodge ball and tumble in the gymnastics center. $5  Price includes pizza and one free drink. Meets in the Teen Center and must enter through the ELC side entrance. This is a drop-in program - no registration required.

Jam Time

Ages: 14–18 years

Fee: Y Member FREE Community Guest Fee

Do you have a band or play an instrument and need a place to practice? Thursday nights - come down and get a room at the YMCA to rehearse! You must bring your own gear, but a drum set is available upon request. Grab your instruments and come on down. Length is 2 hours. Meets in Early Learning Center. Private Guitar Lessons

Ages: 8 years & older

Fee: Y Member $160 Community $210

Learn guitar or perfect your chords with an experienced instructor. All levels welcome, guitars will be provided or bring your own. Time slots available after school and evenings. Birthday Parties at the Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA

Give Your Child a Birthday to Remember!

Celebrate your child’s special day with a birthday party featuring their favorite activity! All parties include 1 hour of activity followed by 45 minutes in the party room.  Activities include: Gymnastics, Nerf War Blaster, Sports, Pool/Slip & Slide and Rock Wall Adventure.
