Water Main Break Repaired, Discoloration May Continue

The water main break on Bradlee Road has been repaired by discolored water may still occur.

The water main break on Bradlee Road that occurred on Monday morning has been repaired, the Water & Sewer Commission said shortly before 11 a.m.

If you were affected by the break but still have no water, the water department asks you to call them at 781-631-0102.

Residences in the area of the break may experience discolored water, the water department said. If you do have discolored water, you should run the cold water in your sink until the water runs clear. It may take several minutes.

The water department asks customers to not use hot water and not do laundry until the discoloration is gone. The water is completely safe.
