Town To Begin Interviewing for New Recreation Supervisor

The recreation superintendent is seeking a replacement for Jim Sullivan, the former supervisor.

The superintendent of the town Recreation and Parks Department is expected to start interviewing this week to find a new recreation supervisor.

The former supervisor, Jim Sullivan, left Marblehead to take a position with the Winchester recreation department, about two weeks ago.

At the last selectmen's meeting Town Administrator Jeff Chelgren announced Sullivan's departure and thanked him for his service.

Sullivan started as the Recreation Supervisor in April of 2012, said Brendan Egan, superintendent for Marblehead Recreation and Parks.
