The Candidates Debate

The Marblehead League of Women Voters will host debates for the state Senate and House of Representatives races at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 25, at the Village Street School auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Participating are the candidates for state Senate from the 3rd Essex & Middlesex District, incumbent Thomas McGee, a Lynn Democrat, and Republican Christopher Dent of Nahant.

Also debating will be the candidates for state representative from the 8th Essex District, incumbent Democrat Lori Ehrlich of Marblehead and Dr. Katherine (Kate) Kozitza, a Swampscott Republican.

To ask questions, people should plan to arrive 15 minutes before the debates begin to submit written questions. A member of the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts will moderate the debates.
