The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:


Wednesday, Oct. 23

  • At 9:52 a.m., police responded to a parking complaint on Redstone Lane.
  • At 11:57 a.m., a Brackett Place woman called police to report getting a strange phone call.
  • At 12:09 p.m., police responded to a past vehicle break-in on Pleasant Street.
  • At 4:04 p.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over a checkbook she found in her driveway.
  • At 7:35 p.m., a resident entered the police station to pick up her wallet. The woman said there were several items missing.
  • At 8:12 p.m., police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Beacon Street.
  • At 11:09 p.m., police responded to a report of a woman yelling on Creesy Street.

Thursday, Oct. 24

  • At 12:47 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Washington Street.
  • At 2:15 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Village Street.
