Vandalism and an OUI Drugs Arrest

Sunday, Dec. 22

9:49 a.m., a woman came into the police station and reported that she was assaulted the night before. An emergency restraining order was granted by a judge.

12:20 p.m., a walk-in to the police station reported losing a gold hoop earring by Palmers restaurant.

5:48 p.m., a Ladding Rock Road resident reported receiving harassing calls and texts.

9:13 p.m., a Pond Street caller reported a possible overdose near Lab Motors. The patient was transported to the hospital.

10:23 p.m., police charged William Brown, 57, of 27 North Gaston Ave., Somerville, NJ with OUI drugs, possession of Class E drugs and on a non-Marblehead warrant.

11:15 p.m., police and fire personnel responded to a report of a drunk male at an Atlantic Avenue residence. The male was left in the care of his parents.

11:54 p.m., police received a report of people urinating in the street and a backyard on Abbot Street. It was a party. No one there was under 21. No one is leaving or driving, police reported.

Monday, Dec. 23

8:07 a.m., a post office sticker with a swastika drawn on it was posted on a light pole near the far end of the bleachers at Marblehead High School. The sticker was removed. The assistant principal has reviewed camera footage and will get back to police with any photographs, as needed.

2:32 p.m., a walk-in to the police station reported that her 14-year-old daughter was talking on the phone with someone she met in a chatroom. 

3:35 p.m., a possible stroke was reported on Lafayette Street.

4:17 p.m., police assisted as a roommate removed belongings from a Creesy Street apartment.
