Swampscott Woman Charged With OUI

Thursday, Dec. 26

9:10 a.m., a car was reportedly speeding and passing cars on the left on Atlantic Avenue.

11:32 a.m., police made a well-being check on an 87-year-old woman who lives on Green Street Court. She was fine.

2:11 p.m., a college identification card and credit cards were found at Humphrey Street and Ruby Avenue. They were turned in at the police station.

6:31 p.m., a caller reported a past motor vehicle accident at Leggs Hill Road and Londonderry Road. The caller stated that her vehicle was rear-ended at a stop sign.

Friday, Dec. 27

4:59 a.m., a taxi driver reported dropping off a fare at a Countryside Lane address. The man did not pay his fare, the driver said. The man told police he paid $40 of a $70 fare.

7:27 a.m., a car appeared to have struck a utility pole at Central Street and Atlantic Avenue. 

10:19 a.m., a sister walked into the police station and reported her brother was missing. The brother was located.

12:31 p.m., a Merrill Road resident reported check fraud and a missing wedding band.

8:04 p.m., a caller on Ocean Avenue reported that she thought she was traveling behind a drunk driver. She said the vehicle was traveling slowly and almost hit a house. The caller provided police the vehicle's license plate number. Police located the vehicle.
Police charged Danielle Halderman, 42, of 31 Spinale Road, Swampscott with OUI liquor.
