Suspicious Activity Reported on Pleasant Street

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:

Wednesday, Dec. 12:

  • At 9:06 a.m., police responded to a report of an open door on Turner Road.
  • At 9:08 a.m., a resident entered the police station to report losing an iPad near the intersection of Atlantic Avenue and Gerald Road.
  • At 9:26 a.m., a woman called police looking for permission to block off Mechanic Street while a moving van moved her belongings.
  • At 9:49 a.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over a blue bike that had been sitting in his backyard for a year.
  • At 1:15 p.m., a resident entered the police station to discuss the recent theft of silver dollar coins from his car in Salem. 
  • At 1:47 p.m., a resident entered the police station to turn over a driver's license discovered on Baldwin Road.
  • At 1:55 p.m., police responded to a report of a blocked sidewalk on Washington Street.
  • At 2:56 p.m., police responded to a report of wires pulled down by a truck on Seaview Avenue.
  • At 3:53 p.m., police were alerted to a tree limb that was hanging over the roadway on Cornell Road.
  • At 4:15 p.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Pinecliff Drive.
  • At 5:50 p.m., an Atlantic Avenue woman called police to report that she locked the door to her house in the morning and returned home to find her front door open.
  • At 7:19 p.m., a resident called police to report losing a cell phone on Maple Street.
  • At 10:39 p.m., police responded to a report of a disabled motor vehicle on Pleasant Street.

Thursday, Dec. 13:

  • At 12:29 a.m., police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Pleasant Street. Two men were reportedly seen going "in between cars."
  • At 4:58 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Village Street.
  • At 5:33 a.m., police responded to a burglar alarm on Pleasant Street.
