Principal Reports Out-of-Control Student

The following information was submitted by the Marblehead Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Marblehead Police Department's log:

Monday, Jan. 14:

  • At 8:47 a.m., a caller reported that police tape was hanging inside the The Hurricane Restaurant and Bar on Washington Street. It appeared to be a prank and the owner was taking it down.  
  • At 10:23 a.m., a May Street caller said someone was at her door the night before around 9:30 p.m. It sounded like someone threw himself or herself at the door. Police advised the caller to report it immediately if it happens again.
  • At 11:45 a.m., the principal at a Humphrey Street school reported a student was out of control. She said the boy was punching walls, windows, doors and being disobedient in general by not listening to teachers. The student's last known location was in the auditorium. Police found the student and released him to the custody of his father. 
  • At 2:06 p.m., police and fire units encountered an unresponsive male at Atlantic Avenue and Barnard Street. The male was breathing but unconscious. He was transported to the hospital. 
  • At 2:55 p.m., police received a report that a wallet was taken from a Pleasant Street location.
