Selectmen last week appointed three new members to the Marblehead Police Department on the recommendation of Chief Robert Picariello. They are Neil Comeau, Christopher Donahue and Michael Maccario. The appointments of Donahue and Maccario are subject to them successfully completing the five-month-long police academy, three months of field training and a probationary period, a department spokesman said on the MPD Facebook. Both men begin the academy in early March.
