Plowed Snow Leaves Guest Parking A Drift

Monday, Jan. 6

10:16 a.m., an Arthur Avenue resident said the neighbor's plow driver piled snow into the right of way after the recent storm. It's where the caller's guests park. The caller said it happened during the Dec. 18 and Jan. 3, storms, as well, so he put up a sign. But the plower made a ramp and snow mountain in the area with snow from the latest storm, he said.

11:57 a.m., a Gerry Street caller said a local resident wrote a bad check in July and has not made good on it. A police officer contacted the caller.

12:45 p.m., a two-car crash was reported at Creesy and Green Street. No injuries were reported.

2:31 p.m., a caller reported that strobe lights were activated at the Tedesco Golf Course clubhouse. The fire department told dispatch there is ongoing maintenance with the sprinkler system at the clubhouse.

3:08 p.m., a car parked too close to the corner at Jersey Street and Sewall Street was ticketed by police.


8:40 p.m., a Pleasant Street caller said she needed assistance with a heating issue. The caller said she could not get her oil burner to shut down.

Tuesday, Jan. 7

1:12 a.m., a car alarm was sounding in a Rockaway Street driveway. The car was okay.
