Neighbors at Odds on Hammond

The following information came from the Marblehead Police Department. Where charges are listed, they do not indicate a conviction.

Saturday, Oct. 5

  • 2:44 a.m., police received a call from Vine Street. A male said his girlfriend hit him on the head. The female called police and said the male party threatened her, and she said that the altercation took place when she would not let him in her daughter's room. Police unitd responded to the residence. A party requested a taxi. A report from police is to follow. All the units left the residence.
  • 9:50 a.m., a detail officer reported that a male on a green scooter went by the area of Humphrey Street and Maple Street and he might have been impaired.
  • 11:33 a.m., a Hereford Road caller reported a breaking and entering at his residence. He reported jewelry and a digital camera were stolen.
  • 11:41 a.m., a Hammond Place caller reported that a neighbor grabbed him following a confrontation earlier in the day. He said she followed him up the steps of his residence, then left his property. The caller then came to the police station to talk to an officer. The other party also came to the station to talk to an officer. Later, the man called back and said that when the neighbor had grabbed him to prevent him from going in his house, she damaged his screen door.
  • 10:21 p.m., a possible assault was reported on Pleasant Street. 
Sunday, Oct. 6
  • 12:29 p.m., a Mongoose bicycle was stolen from a Longview Drive driveway overnight.
  • 1:25 p.m., a Mongoose bike was found in the bushes on Palmer Road.
  • 1:34 p.m., a person fell and lost a tooth on Seaview Avenue.
